Don't take our word for it, just look at what
parents, pupils and staff from schools have to say about us...

Parent
Since starting at Flexi School my ten year old Son, Connor, has seen his reading age improve from 5.9 years to 7.9 years - a rise of two years in just six months, something his SENCO called 'simply miraculous'. I can only thank Narinda and her team for their patience and hard work in giving my son a chance to be able to take part in school lessons fully. It's still early days but I've seen Connor grow in self esteem and confidence and I can only encourage anyone who thinks their child may be dyslexic to give Flexi-Schooling a go - it really does work!"

Senco Primary School

"It has boosted the confidence and self esteem of our pupils. They don't feel so alone in their difficulties and feel that they can help others.  The increase in confidence has led to them taking more risks with their work. They have also found alternative strategies that work for them so they are able to access the same curriculum as their peers"

Freya has just had some school assessments "and the really interesting thing was how she did in the assessments. Her free writing was easy to decode with good phonetic spelling and some correct spelling patterns. Her knowledge of the alphabet, phonemes and spellings has improved sooooo much! And she did really well with a year 3 maths paper with sound knowledge of some basic concepts! She is still behind but so many of the holes have been plugged and I know it’s down to you guys. You have all made such a difference going back to the beginning with her and building her knowledge and understanding slowly but surely. I did of course sing your praises but I didn’t need to because the evidence was right there!! Thank you!"

"I've just had a little cry......look at the attachment and he asked me to watch him do it...that's a first....He normally avoids school work! I just can't thank you enough Narinda, I know I go on but you are one amazing lady for which I am eternally grateful. Teachers at school keep telling me he shows them how he does things at Flexi-school.....He is gutted that he can't come tomorrow..."

"Well done Riley, and Flexi School. We are so proud of Riley he has come such a long way since Christmas"

Senco - Primary School

I would recommend FSD to parents as a provision to support their children with dyslexia. The classes are small and tailored to the needs of the children. The children enjoy learning with the strategies that are used, it's active, multi-sensory and fun"

"We watched 'The Boy in a Dress' which was shown on Boxing Day.  It really reminded me of Oliver & brought a tear to my eye as I've seen how confident he has become since attending flexi-school....even his class teacher is very impressed.  Oliver said to me today, "Is it Tuesday?"

"Why?"

"Because that is when I can go to flexi-school again."
Bless!

'Eve has had a really good first term at her secondary school (after a small hiccup at the beginning where she panicked a bit about homework).  She has met all her targets that were set when she started and is now working at a mid Level 5, which is brilliant.  She even got a Level 6 in her R.E assignment where she had to write between 600-700 words!!!  I am so pleased - I sound like I am bragging - but I am comfortable telling you about this as you know where she was when she first started with you.  I thought you would be pleased to know how well she is getting on and the big part that you and Karen have played in getting her to this point.

(Eve came to us in Sep 2013 at a Level 2 in reading & numeracy & low Level 3 in Writing.  She was in Yr6 & her school told Catherine there was nothing more they could do for her.  In 2 terms she went up 8 sub-levels in reading & numeracy & 3 in writing, but best of all we taught her strategies to continue progress independently of us.)

"We've just opened Ella-Mae's report, in one term she has gone up 3 sub-levels in reading.  AMAZING, beyond all our expectations!  Thank you Narinda, Flexi-School is Fantastic! x"

"We had Kristos' Parents Evening and it was very positive.  The school have said they are starting to see results and that Kristos has moved up sub-levels so he is no longer below the national average :)  Thank you for helping and for giving Kristos the tools he needs to be confident in his school work"

"Best thing I ever did for my son"

Class Teacher
"I'm Ben's class teacher.  I wanted to mention to you that during an assessment of sounds, Ben encountered 'ew' and said, 'I've been doing this one in Flexi-School, it's ew".  His handwriting and spelling during writing have improved, as has his confidence when writing.  Many thanks."

Parent
"I am so pleased with my son's progress.  We could not have done it without you.  Thank you so much for everything."

"Just to let you know we had parents evening last night & WOW!  what a difference.  Nothing but praise for Ben from Miss ****** about how hard he is working and much, much improvement.  She particularly wanted us to see a beautiful, descriptive story that he had written; of course not spelt entirely correctly, but coherent and a huge use of his imagination - and even speech marks in the right places!  Obviously there is a way to go, but so much improvement in confidence, behaviour & willingness to learn.  Best parents evening we've ever had (only had to wait 7 years!)  Thank you SO much - we will keep ploughing on!

"We are so pleased with Winston's progress and it brought a tear to our eye this week when he volunteered to stand up in front of about 200 people in the Cubs christmas church service and read out an unrehearsed piece from the bible. He was not nervous or phased by it at all and is somethimg he would have never entertained two years ago. We had parents evening this week and the school were very impressed with Winston's great progress and so a big thank you to all of you at FSD for making this happen".
